SCULPTURAL PLAYGROUND

May Jong is an artist and educator. Her work often involves viewer collaboration and participation. She is currently an instructor in the Visual Arts Department at Napa Valley College.

The Sculptural Playground is an interactive installation inspired by Adventure Playgrounds. The installation uses modular recycled materials and utilizes loose parts to create open-ended play. Participants are encouraged to look at, interact with, rearrange, move, disassemble, reassemble, recreate, and use the sculpture to create their own artworks.
