Arleene Correa Valencia is a current MFA candidate at CCA. She was born in Arteaga, Michoacán, MX and emigrated to Napa in 1997. Arleene was the AXA Art Prize Finalist for the William and Gloria Brobeck Scholarship in Graduate Fine Arts and in 2019 held the notable solo exhibition Invisible at Cal Maritime Community Art Gallery in Vallejo. Previous internships and residencies include Frieze Art Fair, New York,  Duke Riley Studio in Brooklyn, and AICAD New York Studio Residency Program, School of Visual Arts, New York. She currently has work on view in the Our Connection to the Land exhibition at MACLA (Movimiento de Arte y Cultura Latino Americana) in San Jose.
