Lost and Found Treasure Boxes
Come sew, cut, and collage your very own art collection with artist Kristina Young.  After finding inspiration in di Rosa’s current exhibition, Based on a True Story, families will decorate treasure boxes that they will later fill with small tokens made from vintage photos and prints.

Botanical Assemblage
Artist Josanna Zavala will teach families the art of assemblage (putting objects together to make something new), and discuss examples of this art form in the exhibition Based on a True Story. Participants will learn how to create their own assemblage works with leaves, twigs, and petals foraged from the di Rosa grounds.

Spring has Sprung
Learn how to make paintings spring to life with artist Patti Wessman.  Families will discover the vibrant mixed media artwork within di Rosa’s collection and Based on a True Story and create their own lively works by adding 3-D objects to 2-D canvases.
