ENJOY BIRDING AT DI ROSA! NEXT DATE: AUGUST 21

Advance tickets are required for this event.

Join us for a leisurely bird walk for all levels of experience.  These outings will lead participants to explore the banks of di Rosa’s own Winery Lake and the many birds that call it home. Our guide is a knowledgeable enthusiast with an eye toward spotting and introducing both rare and common birds on the di Rosa property.

Enjoy a leisurely walk of approximately one mile, over mostly flat terrain.  The program will go on in light rain but will be canceled in the event of a heavy storm.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own binoculars if you have them (very few will be available to borrow), and a camera if desired.  Please download the Merlin Bird ID or Audubon Bird ID applications to your smartphone ahead of time.  Be prepared to be outdoors with sturdy clothing and shoes, dress warmly, bring water, and wear sunscreen.  Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Advance tickets are required for this event.

About Your Guide

Sara Curtis is a 6th generation Napan and, when not at her day job as a hotel concierge, she spends most of her time birding at local parks and wildlife preserves. Her favorite birds are Swainson’s Hawks and all species of chickadee, and she is very excited to share her passion for birds and ecology with the community!

After Your Bird Walk

Stay for a leisurely picnic in our shady Olive Grove or explore di Rosa’s galleries.
