Clayton Bailey, a ceramic sculptor who was a leading figure in the California Clay movement, created a fantastical world of monsters and creatures from his home studio in Port Costa. His wife Betty, less familiar to students of Northern California art history, was a prolific artist whose work spanned media including ceramic and graphite on paper. In this exhibition, their works are exhibited side by side in an examination of the wonders and horrors of art, fame, and domestic partnership.

di Rosa Downtown is presented in partnership with First Street Napa and Zapolski Real Estate LLC.
