The sheep are back — and we’re throwing them a party!
We have been hearing far and wide from our community, “How can we help with this next chapter at di Rosa?” and your moment is here! Join us for our di Rosa Sheep Roundup Celebration, officially marking di Rosa’s comeback era!
More than 30 years ago, Veronica di Rosa placed her sculptural sheep on the hillside overlooking the property. After a decade in the back pasture, the newly restored flock is returning to center stage.
What to Expect: Enjoy BBQ, wine and beer, music, art, hay-bale seating, and remarks from our staff, board and our partners.
Help Us Bring the Sheep Home: You’ll have the opportunity to bid at our first ever “livestock auction” to name one of our 22 sheep for a full year—complete with bragging rights, a keepsake replica, and a holiday-card-worthy photo.
Their return marks something bigger: a bold new chapter for di Rosa, its land, and its community.

The celebration will also honor the protection of di Rosa’s upper ridge and plans for a new public hiking trail in partnership with the Land Trust of Napa County and Napa County Regional Park and Open Space District. Learn more about the partnership here.
