Installation + one night event acknowledging the one year anniversary of the 2017 North Bay Wildfires
Bob Van Breda’s Car Candelabra sculpture—commemorating the 44 lives lost to the devastating North Bay wildfires— was presented as a week-long temporary installation in conjunction with Be Not Still: Living in Uncertain Times Part 2. The installation culminated with a candle lighting ceremony by the artist, activating the sculpture and creating a contemplative space for the public to reflect on the one year anniversary of the fires’ containment.
